Tulipa humilis var.'Albo caerula Oculata'

Stunning is the word for this low growing species tulip, large open white flowers with a deep cobalt blue center make it a standout. One of the few tulips to have a true blue color in the flower. The bulbs may be small, however the name is long and the flowers are large.

Tulipa humilis var.'Albo caerula Oculata' or 'Blue-eyed Wildflower Tulip' open white flower with blue tinged center make it perhaps one of the most desirable of the low growing Tulipa species we have seen ( but not yet grown).

Growing to 6-8" and flowering in spring Tulipa humilis 'Albo caerula Oculata' is rare, stunning and most likely expensive if you can find them. With white petals a a vivid blue centre this is stunning. Green foliage seems to almost disappear below the flowers they are so wide when open.
