When to plant vegetables. A calendar for planting vegetables in the home garden will vary greatly from state to state and even within some states. Most vegetable planting diaries relate to when the last and first frost will occur and this makes a complete list or diary of what vegetables to plant each month very much an individual list. However as a guide as to when to plant vegetables we can work through the year with a month by month planting guide, times need to be adjusted according to climate.
