Wholesale Gardenia Nurseries
Available in a number of varieties including some low growing ground cover types, Gardenias are a favourite plant in warmer areas across the country.
Although Gardenias are best suited to zones 8 – 10 they can be grown in cooler zones and are sold in garden centres and nurseries. In those cooler zones most wholesalers prepare plants to be grown in containers, allowing for overwintering on a warm patio or indoors.
A few varieties are more cold tolerant than others with Kliem’s Hardy and the Oregon Gardenia being two that will survive in a sheltered position in zone 7.
