Epimedium x versicolor 'Cherry Tart' is a clump forming perennial that reaches around 12 inches tall. The new foliage is a lovely reddish color but it is the flowers with their lovely pink sepals and red petals that make this such an attractive plant for the garden.

Like most epimediums this one prefers a part shaded position and will cope well with dry conditions although a humus rich moist soil will see it thrive. An easy to grow groundcover plant that copes well with dry shade.
