Growing Santolina and Santolian Species

Santolina chamaecyparis or cotton lavender is perhaps the most widely used of this group. Santolina can be used as a feature plant or as a low growing hedge or edging plant.Santolina is a highly scented plant, drought tolerant has aromatic foliage and hine yellow button like flowers. Suitable for coastal areas.

Santolina prefers a sunny position in a well drained position. Santolina can be clipped to shape after flowering to maintain shape.
