Schizostylis Plant Profile.

Schizostylis will flower in late summer and add some real color to the border. Schizostylis coccinea prefer a humus rich soil in a sunny but sheltered position.

Schizostylis are originally from South Africa and will remain evergreen in warmer climates. Protection from frost is required, so mulch well before the frost begin. Coppery red, white and pink forms of Schizostylis are available.
