Scoliopus bigelovii or 'Fetid adders-tongue'



Originally from moist woodland areas from California to Oregon Scoliopus bigelovii grows well in moist shaded conditions, consider adding some peat moss or coco peat (coir) to the soil or potting mix to help maintain moisture.

Flowering in late winter to early spring Scoliopus bigelovii makes a great container plant, but grow it a little away from the house or any open window (yes the flowers smell).
